George Douvelos is a Barrister in our firm. He has an extensive commercial litigation practice. He represents corporate and individual clients in complex commercial, maritime, tax, customs, immigration, construction, strata /real estate and insurance law matters. George brings an exceptional comparative law practise to our firm and he often counsels on private international law issues in arbitrations and multi-jurisdictional maritime and commercial disputes. He has appeared in leading cases in various tribunals and arbitrations in Canada and abroad, the Tax Court and right up to the British Columbia Court of Appeal and the Federal Court of Appeal. George is the current chair of the Seafarers Committee of the Canadian Maritime Law Association.
